So not much going on lately:

1) New semester is starting up at RV again in two weeks or so. Happy about that because then it gives me something to do and I'm SO excited about Cultural Anthropology and having my favorite English teacher again this semester.

2) Going laser tagging tonight with a bunch of friends ( Shout-out to all the Game Room Gang who's going tonight!). Total of people attending said game is about... 10-12 or so.

3) Florida next week for a few days, to see my grandma for her birthday. Also might be seeing Evanescence in Tampa while down there too!!!

4) Cosplaying: the 'Large Cosplay' is coming out pretty well, I just need to find a top and pants for it. Ciel Phantomhive is all saved up for: now it's just getting the wig for it since mom is getting me the shoes for it.

5) Commissionwork is slowly coming in. I have someone who ordered a pair of FaerieTale wing barettes and another who is going to pay me to do a Celtic unicorn (that's already done and posted: now its a matter of getting that sent to him).

Really, I cant complain too much lately. Well I can, but then I'll be ultra whiney about life and I dont think you guys want to hear that. ^^; Have a nice day!

he is a very intersting professor becasue he is a praticing anthropologist, but you will need to read the textbook, he goes off on tangents during class and most of what you take notes on are not on the exams. But when he gives a good analogy on how to describe a term, write it down exactly as he says.
You will have to read "the Forest people" and "Assult on Paradice." Forrest people is his first or second exam (there are four) so read that ASAP, he gets pissed when he has to remind you to read it when you should have already started it when you got it. Its very boring read but when he has an exam prep period, go to as many lectures as you can becasue he goes over it in detaile. Assult is better but its long and you have to read it, it wasnt as bad as forest people. Reading all three texts and taking notes is the best thing you can possiably do. He hands out/emails two wordlists for the term and if you know every word and know examples for the words, youre safe. and you will need to know how to translate mayan numbers into our numbersystem and put our numbers into mayan, (dont be scared, you can use a calc and teh zeros are like drawing)
Other than the book work he is a very zealous teacher, he has a habit of not sitting in chairs, he walks around the room, tripping over things, and he is hard of hearing, he will get up into your face saying "what was that" or "say again", so if you have a question or the answer, speak loudly, he does like it when the class gets involved. he is a chalkboard person, and his handswriting isnt that good, so sit in the front, he also only writes the topic on the board and oraly teaches, so write what he says, arrows also help when taking notes. I hope i am not scaring you!!! the class is so intresting and cool, and he really is a good professor, you just have to teach yourself agong with his analogy, he is not typical and has his own method, with his stories--kinda better than the books stupid exsplanations.

i learned a lot in his class....and learned that anthropology isnt my cup of tea.
