Well, not too much has happened as of late save for a few things in no particular order:

A) CloverCon 2012

Well, the result of a year's worth of planning has been completed and came together beautifully! The 4H Village Hidden in the Clovers' annual event emerged for the second year and I have to tell you, it was even better then 2011's event. We know this due to how we had a surge of cosplayers and even cooler prizes, not to mention more artists and vendors at the Artist Alley. Thank you to for the plushies, once again! ^_^

A few particular successes:

1) The panels and etc.: we had a Dr. Who panel, an Improv Games workshop run by your's truely, as well as various anime themed games.
2) Anime Parliament: A particular happening, but a success due to what I have heard of it. Run by someone associated with AnimeNext 2012, mind you as well: he actually liked holding a panel at our smaller convention. Networking with higher officials is always a good thing.
3) Cosplay galore!: We had a massive wave of cosplayers this year! While last year it was far and few in between, we must have had at least 50 or so cosplayers this year. 30 at least in our Cosplay Catwalk. Wow! Talk about a great increase in their numbers! Showed off the larger-then-life NyanCat, much to the amusement of con-goers.

You also know your convention is a hit when you have some Dr. Who cosplayers attend the event. There was a group of them, about 5 or so in full garb, and they must have been the most popular people there that day. Super nice as well, for putting up with the constant barrage of pictures they must have received.

The Artist Alley was jam-packed full of vendors and those selling their wares. Even though I only made a small ammount there, I cant say that about others: the buttons were flying out of there faster then hot pancakes, and chain mail jewlery was doing pretty darn well too.

B) Cosplay of the Future

I am plenty sure you are all sick of me saying these things but here is an improved list of future costumes/cosplays/ ideas for the future. In newest to oldest:

C) End of Semester

I am officially done with my freshman year of college! I can now relax a little bit before starting my summer course: therefore, I technically only have 1 month of summer vacation : I. Eh, the class is only an hour and a half a day but then again, its Math :I.

In the meantime, I am spending it reading, doing some crafting stuff (like working on a large shield for a friend and selling my leftover inventory from CloverCon) and really just relaxing.  I have also been addicted to making ice pops lately though!

Really, I am just happy that summertime is here for me. Time to catch up on TV, movies, books and much-needed sleep as well!
