As some of you perhaps might know, my local 4-H has had a few members establish a brand new anime club, which I am a proud member of. And because we are all mad otaku, we have also then managed to create something that 4-H has not done before.
We call this creation CloverCon, the very first 4-H anime convention.
Being held in June, I do believe (
Your's truely here is desiring to get her own table there at the Artist' Alley, but she needs some ideas to help her along.
Right now, I am having the hardest of time coming up with things I can draw up to sell. As of late, I know that it is definite that I want to come up with a bunch of bookmarks. Those will feature sumi-like images of cherry blossom trees and the animals of the Chinese zodiac.
But I would also like to make some nice sized posters as well, but those ideas are failing me right now as well.
That is why I am asking you guys, the members of dA, to give me some suggestions on things to draw! Hopefully, these will act as a springboard and I can get cracking on drawing them up. : )
Peace out!

As far as poster art goes... Mm, all I can really recommend is some fanart, maybe, or traditional-looking stuff? Like, Sumi-ee or Japanese wall-hangings, if you're aiming for a more traditional look as opposed to a fanbase appeal.
Go, Faith, go! I'll see you there, and maybe get a table next to you! ^^
Oh, and if you need ideas for products, check out my unnecessarily long post down there. (Or up there, it depends on whether how you display comments.
I also plan on doing small little pictures there right on the spot for 5 dollars each. Those will be little chibi dragons that I can draw up for someone while they wander about the Con.
Oh, any ideas for possible art and such?
As for stuff to sell, maybe some Celtic style fanart? That would be pretty unique....
OMG Post cards!! Greeting cards! buttons! stickers! Key chains! Ornaments! coasters! magnets! Maybe you could get some products made through zazzle.com? You can put your artwork on all kinds of products, and then buy in bulk. You can even get your art printed onto skateboards. And shoes!
OMG. You could do a series of say...celtic style pokemon....and then make a calendar out of it!
some of the zazzle products might be a bit expensive. maybe another site like cafepress would have better prices...
And I think some of these kinds of products can be made at like...walgreens and such.
- Interweaving Lugia and Ho-oh - Lugia by itself
- Rayquaza - Ninetails, possibly
- Noctowl
However, that is only so far.
I am also intending on making small 5 dollar commissions right on the spot at CloverCon, of little dragons. I can do those while people are out enjoying the rest of the Con and have them done by the time they leave.
Ever notice how Zapdos kinda looks like big bird?
