Well, I've been back from my week-long family vacation to Canada so I apologize for my somewhat brief absense from the Internet world on here.

So much has happened as of late, so I'll recall from the top of the most recent and important of events in no particular order (although there is SOME sort of order to the chaos):

A) I graduated high school! So now,  instead of a Somerville Pioneer I am a RVCC Golden Lion. Welcome to Lion Country, bitches lol. Decided Major for now: English, until I get out of RV. Then I'm changing it to Creative Writing, since that's what I want it to be but its not offered at RV.

B) A few days before graduation, this happend. Note: Some of the geography of my local area most of you won't get so those of you who know where I'm talking about will get this much easier then others.

I was driving to Wal-Mart to go and get some fabric for a costume I'm making for a rennaisance faire this summer. Mind you, this was me driving my 2006 Scion tC, with the speaker system with three settings and a snazzy sun roof and pretty sky blue paint job. Driving down to Wal-Mart, over by the AMC Theaters, when I go the wrong way. I decide I'll just make a U turn over in the Burger King parking lot. Can't, traffic from the direction opposite of where I wanted to go was  too heavy. So I decide to drive to Michael's and I'll turn around there to get to Wal-Mart. I'm driving and about to turn into the entry way of the parking lot, when Mr. Scion and a Mr. Telephone Pole have a sudden unwanted encounter. I get away from The Wreck with only a few bruises and welts on my arms and one on my neck from where the seat belt saved me.

So now, I have to find another car.  I have to begin the agonizing process of practicing driving and finding another used car all over again: this process took me 5 months to find the first one. I need a car for college. So I have to cram 5 months worth of looking into a month and a half. Wish me luck.

C) CloverCon '11 was a great success, especially since it was the first year of the 4-H run anime convention. Our total number of people who came in and visited it was around 200: not bad at all for the first year! I made 45 dollars off of selling artwork and I also helped out with a couple of games there as well. We now know, we meaning the anime club I'm a part of, of things we should do differently next year so we can improve it.

D) is coming down to visit me in two weeks or so, and we'll be going to the beach when he comes down. Then I'll be on the train with him back up to MA for a week of fun up there. So mark that on your calenders that I'll be out of the loop on here for two weeks.

E) Having a graduation party this Saturday for family and then another one next week for friends. To those on here who I have sent messages out to but have not responded, please get back to me ASAP on if you can come or not.

And now, for costume updates.

First off, driving myself nuts with making my elf costume for the NY Renaissance Faire this year. I need to find a bodice or corset at a reasonable price, first of all, followed by a tankard and the correct blouse. This, and then I need to sew a long floppy hat for my costume. This is why I wanted to go to Wal-Mart when the Wreck happened. If anyone knows where I can find a reasonably priced corset or bodice in a berry color (like pinkish-purple colored) please send me a Note!

Second is the latest project to spring up in my mind. A kitsune version of Gin Ichimaru from Bleach. Normally I'm not one to crossplay and dress as male characters but I love this idea too much. I already have his jacket and sandals so that's two things out of the way. It's really just finding a wooden replica of his sword that's badgering me right now, as well as the shirt and hakama he wears as well. The wig, I already know what I'm doing for that and the same goes with the three fox tails I'm utilizing for this as well. Know where I can find the rest of the props for the costume? Please tell me in a Note!
