So you have obviously (if you keep a watch on my artwork!) seen my cosplay ideas, including the Amaterasu one.
I simply have a question though. If anyone has an answer, please tell me!
For the outfit, I need a specific bracer made for one of my wrists/arms. I would probably need it made out of leather. But that's a minor note. The major thing would be how it has to depict the animals of the Chinese Zodiac in a sumi brush painting style. Those are the key part of the entire bracer, the zodiac animals.
And also if anyone has any idea how to make the flaming mirror on my back, please tell me! Lol

well i dont really play okami but my friend does... i dont really see how your going to get ALL the brush gods onto the bracer... But if they were really small.... well maybe you could draw with sharpie on the leather.... >.> maybe....
the flaming mirror shouldn't be to hard actually.... take a mirror... or even something like this dog is wearing: [link]
and there is this... well the best way to describe it would be a translusent tissue paper esque thing.... it has an orange red tint to it and when you layer it and crumple it and move it in the slightest afterward it looks like flame.
Start with something simple at first, if you're not the greatest at sewing. If you dont mind getting a costume already made, then take a shot at buying one. Also get a good wig if your going as someone specific.
On the bracer: that, or you make them really simplistic. I can see how it would be hard getting them all on lol.
The mirror: Had an idea to make it kind of like a backpack. So that way, I can use it to store stuff AND it'll be a costume piece as well! lol So yeah.
