Okay, so I realize that it's well over the deadline for the costume contest lol. So Imma going to just tell you guys the three who entered.

So yeah. Only three people entered. XD None the less, I appreciate you all entering and you'll just have to see if your design is my final costume ^^

I learned a few things over this past weekend.

1) Strangely enough, the weather in Boston, despite being way farther north then New Jersey, is actually warmer.

2) In Soviet Russia, you don't Shoop Da Whoop, the Whoop Shoop YOU!

3 Starch is uncomfortable on the collar of a suit/tux.

4) Art college isn't what you expect of a normal college.

5) Seeing your love for only two days is bittersweet.

What's with the random list you may ask? Well, I was shipped up to Boston, MA for the weekend for , my boyfriend's father's wedding. All five of those things above were lessons from the weekend lol.

Day 1

Five to six hour car ride from NJ to MA: not fun in the least bit due to the fact that we had to leave earlier then ten in the morning. But the ride actually went by pretty fast considering that I only took a nap for an hour and thirty minutes out of the entire drive lol. Up along the way, when we were outside of New York City, it began to snow. SNOW. Around the first day of spring, to boot. Well, that was weird weather but only for thirty minutes, really.

So we got the the hotel around three-ish. Nice hotel if you judge it from the lobby. I mean, it was nice don't get me wrong. I just think the room we stayed in could have been a little bit... well kept. Saying this due to the fact that the toilet wasn't working properly, there was no hair dryer, the room was freezing and we had the heat on as well. Funny thing is that it was a fairly new hotel, too. At least we know not to stay there any more.

The wedding came around at five in the afternoon which ment getting ready at three thirty (( Since it takes me forever to get on make-up and a dress ). Four thirty arrives and we start to make our way to the church. Get there a bit before five and I see Zach in the doorway of the church with this big smile as he sees my mom's car drive by. Parked, and rushed to get to him as fast as we can so we're not late lol.

Pretty nice ceremony, to say the least. Afterwards, Zach hitches a ride with us and drops me and him off at the reception (( I'm the only one out of my family invited lol )). Now THAT was a nice resturaunt. The dance floor was upstairs and we ate downstairs so that was a bit confusing though. Got over it eventually and after the main meal we all went back to the dance floor for cake and dancing.

Zach didnt like when they played a song by Rick Asley though lol. Looked like he was in pain when they did. Although we were both annoyed that the DJ didn't play the song he asked him to so we could have a slow dance (( The Merry-Go-Round of Life from Howl's Moving Castle )) but we made due and had dances randomely. And then, there was the rose. I was talking to him absent-mindedly when I turn to him and whoosh, he pulls out a red rose from no where and presents it to me. Needless to say I was impressed and rather happy: I mean, what girl doesn't love getting a rose from the one she loves? ^ ///^ Also he gave me a necklace. Flowers and jewelery: what more can he give me?

Day 2

After mass recouperation on both of our behalfs, my parents and I decided to spend a day with him and my cousins in Boston. Picked Zach up: his neighborhood is really hilly and we kept on saying things along the lines of "Are you sure this isn't San Francisco?!" due to the hills. Picked him up and drove then to my cousins, where we had lunch and where I finally found out where the hole "The cake is a lie" thing is from: the game called Portal. My love and my cousin Sam were spazzing over the Companion Cube and the turrets though for some reason lol.

Ate lunch and left for Boston around 4-ish. (( YEah, we procrastinated when getting out of the house lol )) FInally got into Boston to meet my other cousin Amelia and her boyfriend for dinner at this place called the Boston Beer Works. They were late though so to kill time, we went to a gigantic art supply store. Yay, I got two Prismacolors ^^

Six o' clock comes and we get together with the other couple while making our way to the resturaunt. It was really crowded so Same was freaking out. XD Plus it's a bit hard to squeeze seven people in a booth made for four, five at max. We managed though and enjoyed dinner.

Afterwards, proceeded to drop Zach off back at his place. Needless to say I was really sad over this last part. I never like it when this part occures because I know I'll be upset for three to five days on end. We get there. I escourt him to his back door. He doesn't go in at first: we just stand there in silence for a short moment before I look up at the night sky. It's perfectly clear before he says to me how much he'll miss me when I leave. Agreeing on this much, I just say back to him how much he means to me as his arms wrap around me in a tight embrace. And then, he gives me at least three really long kisses before saying to me, one last time, how much he loves me before he goes.


Day 3

Really, I only write about this day since the family went to the North End before leaving for NJ. I got myself a tank top and blue peacock shirt at this EPIC store called Urban Outfitters. We really dont have any in New Jersey so it's a real treat going there.

After that, we left and it took us until seven in the evening to get back. .___. I hate long rides.


And there's my weekend trip. Full of inside jokes, cakes with fish shaped solid waste and endless cuddling plus the occasional yelp from being poked, it was bittersweet in the least bit. But as Sam said, "Don't think of it as being the end but the beginning".

So I do that now: well, I am supposed to see him in June and August so yay for that ^^. Can't wait to see my love then, hopefully for a longer time since two days isn't enough. lol
