A very long while since I held a contest of my own; been busy with crap and everything.

So, here it is!

Like it says above, there are two options to do for this contest of mine, and not just one. What are they?

1) CREATE A STORY & PIC

Not just of anything, though. For the first option, you have to take this sketch here, done by me, and create a color picture of it with a story of sorts to go with it.
The colored version is now up, for any of you that want to get a fair idea on what I expect of the image you create should you choose the first choice here.

REQUIRMENTS
1) The dragon MUST be a girl at all times. I will not accept any entries that say that she is a male dragon. Also she has two sets of eyes; one pair is down by her nostrils, the other higher up and is devoid of a pupil. She is not blind, though in that one pair of eyes; they are simply extremly sensitive and see for much longer distances from having an extra set farther down on her head.
2) Color entries, please. If a piece is VERY well done but in black and white, inked, I will take it as an exception.
3) Stories MUST have the image somewhere in the story itself. Even if the image is simply a referance for her, the story must have her in that appearance somewhere.
4) Keep in mind the fact that in the sketch that she is in space; why is she? Is she a time-traveiling spirit? The one to bring about the end of the world? Or just plain powerful? I leave any ideas up to you, but run them by me before you get crazy with the contest.


2) PERSONAL CREST

Any of you who are my friends know that I'm adopted (hopefully ) and I long to know who my ancestors are. But that's incredibly hard to do for me. So... for the second option, I want you guys to create a crest for me, Faith or Flaming Chibi. An example of one is 's family crest - [link]

Below is a list of hings that may povide useful to you in the creaion of the crest-

- Fave colors - Black, dark blue, royal purple, emerald green
- Fave animals (real) - Harpy eagle, white tiger, Egyptian vulture, red or Artic fox
- Fave animals (mythical) - Mexican, Asian and European dragons (DUH), griffin, Kirin (Chinese unicorn), Japanese kitsune fox spirit
- Hobbies - reading manga, watching anime, creating fantasy art, write poetry and stories, acting, reading, traveiling to new places, talking to and hanging out with friends, going to the movies
- Dreams- Travel to Japan, Austrailia and England, become a famous artist or author
- Fave books - Inheritance series, Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, Blood and Chocolate by Annete Curtis Klaus, The Kingdom Keepers by Riley Peterson, and the Cirque du Freak series by Darren Shan
- Fave manga - XXXHolic

REQUIRMENTS

1) MUST be in color and, if you can pull it off, very detailed
2) Feature at least two to four of the things mentioned above
So, yeah. Lots of freedom on this one

But one more thing; if you want to, you can enter both catagories, two entries for each per person. So you can enter two for the crest and two for the story and picture.

PRIZES
1st - One fully colored piece, a small sketch and a month's feature
2nd - Black and white image and a month's feature
3rd - Sketch and a month's feature

Winnners will be determined by creativity, how much I like the entry and how many details and time were put into the piece as a whole.
