Description
After some very obsessive work on this baby, I can finally say that she is complete.
Behold: the Chrysoprase, also known as THE EMPRESS, Number 4 in the major arcana of Tarot cards.
This prop is made for my Technomage character.
The base of Chrysoprase is a standard Nerf Sharpshot, spray painted with Krylon spray paint and then details done with acrylics as well as glow in the dark paint on all the dark green parts. The hourglass charm on the end of it, I think, was a nice touch: it detatches off when I am not using it.
I don't want to make one of these again for a very long time: I was very close to fucking this whole thing up at numerous points. I think I'll stick with simpler projects, thank you very much!
